I had a perfectly pleasant experience here, everything was perfectly fine, the location was unbeatable so close to city centre as well as the outlet. The venue was close to the bus station called Howard Street.

The staff was amiable, the hotel was spotless and placed in an old part of the city near to city centre, many bus stops, river.
The breakfast should have been included in the price.

Everything was fab, personnel was exceptional. Welcoming units with a proper hot shower. By the way, I paid gbp 5 per day to park my car.
Its breakfast certainly should 've been included in the price.

We loved it, its staff and location. The hotel was a great place for enjoying a safe area. And furthermore, there was war memorial only 300 metres of the venue. Particularly nice view, a great balcony, big bed, too.

I had a very enjoyable weekend and will be back. Lovely staff, tasty breakfast, fine wi-fi. Wine bar was pleasant and spotless. A secluded beach, absolutely breathtaking view.

My experience at this cute little hotel was such wonderful. I liked the central location and the room was bright. Breakfast had a great selection of good food and drinks.

We really loved our stay in Friars Rest. The stuff where helpful and the setting was convenient. Besides, the private parking was a plus. A good choice of restaurants to eat close by, like La Mian that was only 5 minutes' walk away.

Free Wi Fi was available in the rooms. We appreciated friars rest guest house. Nice base for a weekend in York.
